We’re still in the process of fundraising. Allison and I have set up a one time fund for departure and settlement through our supporting congregation, Memorial Parkway Church of Christ in Huntsville, AL. You’d be surprised at the expense of what it takes to move a family from America to Peru. Right now, we’re lacking approximately 75% of our funds. This is partly due to our upcoming survey trip expenses that took away a good bit of the funds.
We need a lot of help with this, and, already, individuals have been so supportive. People have been so generous but have also shown their dedication to evangelizing Cusco, Peru. It will give you the specific ways in which you can help out. I will also try to make it available in the sidebar soon.
I am convinced that fundraising is part of God’s plan to build faith in the missionaries before they go. It is a blessing to witness the generosity of God’s people. We can so relate to this period of your preparation. We will be praying for your family and your team as you get back on the fundraising train.

Megan, good to hear from you. We check out your blog a lot and glad to see you’re doing well in Arequipa. We’re leaving this Friday (4/24) for the trip and returning May 11. We’re excited! We’ll make the big move at the start of November. Keep in touch!
